What Is a Flexibility Matrix?

Create a Flexibility Matrix to summarize the relative importance of Time, Scope, Resources, Cost, and Quality for your project. Identify which aspect is most crucial to your project sponsors. If the project encounters an issue, the matrix will help determine which aspect can be adjusted first to bring the project back on track.

Using the table below, assign values from 1 to 3 to each cell, with 1 being the least flexible and 3 being the most flexible. Completing this table will demonstrate that you have considered the primary project drivers and identified which areas can be modified to keep the project on course.
